Term 2 will start on 6 May 2024.  We are back to an 8 week term with a slightly revised timetable. Checkout the Terms 2 & 3 schedule in the download tab below for details. 

General Information
  • A health questionnaire will be distributed at the first class. This enables me to be aware of your needs and limitations.

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first class, 10 minutes prior to subsequent classes to allow for settling and to avoid disruption to the class.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

  • Bring a yoga mat and water.

  • It is advisable not to eat for at least 2 hours before class.

  • Since April 2019, the Dept of Health has advised that health fund rebates are not available for Yoga and most other natural therapies.

  • To gain maximum benefit from the class, students are advised to try to attend all sessions and practice at home between classes if possible.

  • Yes, you can do 2 or more classes per week.

  • Parking is available in Macquarie Ave.

  • Access to the Studio is from Macquarie Ave.

 

About the teacher

Jean Holyoake is an accredited YogaAustralia teacher. Jean trained at the Mangrove Yoga Academy acquiring a Diploma following 3 years of studies. Jean is also a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist holding Diplomas in Remedial Massage and Remedial Therapies. All of these qualifications are nationally accredited and recognised. Jean is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and Yoga Australia (YA). Adequate insurance cover is held for professional indemnity and public liability. Jean has been involved in the wellbeing industry for over 15 years and is passionate about making people care for and feel better about themselves.

 

Why Lulujean - what's in a name?

We can become quite creative when releasing our feelings. Working through my emotions with the loss of a special soul “Lulu”, riding out the storm, working with the emotions like waves of the sea,  I came up with the brand name Lulujean.
